Good Morning Race Fans!!!

Exciting week here at Tom Gee Motorsports!!!

Last week we attended the MCL Open House and Steak Fry... Tom Sr was out of town for work, so my co-pilot #17 Brandon Dhuey attended the event with me and helped me meet and greet all the great people there. Everyone had a great time and there was a ton of curiosity about the car, so that makes it pretty fun talking to everyone!

This past Saturday we had both the #17 Limited Late Model and the #36 Late Model at WIR for their open practice day and safety/tech inspection.

The #36 MCL Car was fast right out of the box... topping the standings each practice session!! We have a small oil leak in the motor we need to get fixed... but other than that... we’re ready for the opener!!! Thursday May 24th!!!

The #17 Combat USA Car driven by Brandon Dhuey was also real solid all day... Brandon did a great job learning on the track with the other cars out there and took some great critiquing from the crew on his driving and the lines he was running... by the end of the day, he was clicking off some great lap times and was on top the Rookie board for speed... With 11 rookies in that division, Brandon has a LOT of work to do keeping his nose clean and keep learning and making points every week to claim the prestigious Rookie of the Year Award...

Big Thanks to Larry at Medley Popcorn for coming on board to help sponsor the teams in recent weeks!!! Be sure to stop down in the pits afterwards each week and taste test some samples of Medley Popcorn!!! He’s working on a new Carmel Apple Flavor that is sure to be dynamite!!
